304 stainless steel plates are manufactured using high-quality austenitic chromium-nickel alloy, offering excellent corrosion resistance and durability. Production begins with melting and refining the alloy in an electric arc or induction furnace, followed by continuous casting into slabs. These slabs are then hot-rolled and, if required, cold-rolled to achieve precise thickness and smooth finish. Plates undergo solution annealing to enhance strength and corrosion resistance, followed by pickling to remove scale. Final processes include leveling, trimming, surface polishing (No.1, 2B, or HR finish), and rigorous quality testing for mechanical properties, chemical composition, flatness, and surface integrity.
