This project requires the design and fabrication of a custom acrylic flange made from high-quality, optically clear cast acrylic sheet (PMMA). The flange should be precision-cut to specified dimensions using CNC machining to ensure tight tolerances and smooth finishes. The inner and outer diameters, bolt pattern, and thickness must meet exact client specifications, with a tolerance of ±0.2 mm. All edges are to be chamfered or deburred for safety and aesthetics. Bolt holes should be cleanly drilled to specified diameters and evenly spaced to align with mating components. The final product must be free of cracks, chips, or internal stress marks. A protective film should cover the surface to prevent scratching during transport. If bonding is required, use an optically clear adhesive suitable for acrylic. The finished flange will undergo a quality control inspection to verify dimensions and finish quality before delivery.
